Pizzas

SENSURE delivers advanced vision inspection solutions covering the entire range of pizza products, from dough balls and sheeted pizza bases to partially or fully topped pizzas with vision inspection systems, seamlessly integrated throughout the production process.

SENSURE inspection systems can be installed at multiple stages of the production process, as in:

  • Dough sheeting and die-cut pizza base lines
  • Pizza dough ball and press lines
  • Sauce depositing (tomato or any other sauce)
  • Topping application (cheese, vegetables, meat, poultry, etc.)
  • Prior to final packaging

Rejection mechanisms (air nozzles, retractable belts, traps, etc.) are selected according to the production line configuration, operating speed, and the geometry and physical characteristics of the products.

Defect detection capabilities
2D Analysis (Top View)
  • Shape & Size Control – Detects deformation, ovality, and dimensional deviations
  • Edge & Surface Inspection – Identifies contour defects, irregular edges, and surface inconsistencies
  • Surface Area Measurement – Detects double products, undersized/oversized items, and potential weight deviations
  • Baking Quality Monitoring – Analyzes dark (overbaked) and light (underbaked) areas for consistent baking
  • Monitors overall baking uniformity through average colour analysis
  • Detects excessively dark or pale regions
  • Identifies foreign materials to enhance food safety
  • Sauce Inspection – Verifies presence, distribution, and uniformity
  • Cheese Analysis – Measures coverage, density, and detects over/under dosing
  • Multi-Topping Inspection – Evaluates distribution, coverage, and piece count for multiple ingredients

2D Analysis (Bottom View)
  • Bottom Colour Control – Ensures uniform baking and heat distribution
  • Burnt Area Detection – Identifies excessively dark regions
  • Foreign Material Detection – Enhances product safety compliance

3D Height Analysis
  • Volume & Thickness Measurement – Accurate evaluation of product height and volume
  • Crust Profile Control – Measures edge height (min/max/average)
  • Center Height Analysis – Detects thinning, collapse, or uneven dough distribution
